2022-23 NYO Boys Basketball Registration Information

NYO Families,

NYO Boys Basketball registration will open on Monday, September 19th @ 9am.

PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE YOU REGISTER.

REGISTRATION DATES:
September 19-30

* the waitlist will remain open until tryouts

ACCEPTANCE/WAITLIST PROCESS:
ALL families (retuning & new) will be put on a waitlist when you first register. On September 30th, the boys basketball committee will begin reviewing the waitlist and accept players into the league using the criteria below.

Returning Players:

- Returning players from the 2021-22 season are guaranteed a spot and will be accepted off the waitlist first.

- PLAYERS MUST BE REGISTERED BY SEPTEMBER 30TH IN ORDER TO BE ACCEPTED USING THE CRITERIA ABOVE

New Players:

- New players could remain on the waitlist until tryouts (October 29/30). We will start accepting new players off the waitlist as early as October 1st but that process will be ongoing as drops could occur up until tryouts are held.

PAYMENT PROCESS:
Once a player is accepted off the waitlist, families will have 48 hours to process payment in order to secure a spot in the 2022-23 NYO Boys Basketball program.

TENTATIVE KEY DATES:

October 29-30: Tryouts

Week of November 7: Drafts

November 12/13 - Practices Begin

December 3 - Games Begin

December 19 - January 1: Winter Break/No Games

January 16: MLK Day/No Games
