NYO COVID Protocols & Return to Play Guidelines

NYO Baseball & Softball Families, 

Now that baseball and softball are up and running, please take a minute to review our protocols & return to play guidelines below. 

COVID Protocols: 
Please Mask Up!  We are requiring that coaches and spectators wear masks while at the park. Players should wear masks before and after events. Players are more than welcome to wear masks during practices/games but it is not mandatory.  
Socially Distance!  We will have expanded dugout seating so the players can stay safely apart while waiting for their turn. Spectators please space out with your family.  We ask that parents watch from a safe distance but do not crowd together behind home plate or any of the bleacher seating on the 1st or 3rd baselines. 
Limit Crowding! We have spaced out teams/groups to minimize cross-over traffic. The concession stand will be open with a limited menu but the pavilion areas will remain unavailable for gatherings. Cages will be available during practice slots and pre-game BP but please "mask up" and keep a safe distance while using the cages. 
Wash Hands!  Sanitizer stations will also be available throughout the park.

COVID Quarantine Guidelines:
NYO is working closely with the schools in our area. If your child is quarantined by his/her school, they must also quarantine from NYO activities. If your child tests positive for COVID or is exposed to someone who tests positive and you do not receive guidance from your school, please contact NYO Executive Director Josh Burr at [email protected] for guidance on your child's quarantine timeline.
