Get ready for the next exciting chapter at NYO! We have grown tremendously over the past two decades, engaging young athletes from over 25 neighborhoods across the city. To sustain this growth, NYO has embarked on a $27.5M+ Sharing the Gift capital campaign to transform our ability to impact more youth and leave a legacy for generations to come. Thanks to amazing supporters including Tom & Sarah Fanning and The Galloway School, we have already completed Phase I with the new multi-purpose turf field last September.

Phase II includes major renovation and expansion of the gym, effectively doubling space for NYO programs and public use, greatly enhancing the amenities and offerings available to the community! Phase II will also include an expansion of our scholarship program to ensure inclusive and equitable access to youth sports for all kids! And there’s more good news - in partnership with the City of Atlanta, a new parking deck will be constructed next to the gym to increase parking capacity for use by all Chastain Park visitors!

We’re thrilled to announce that we have raised $17 million, or 62%, of our goal, with gifts from multiple partners including the The City of Atlanta and The Galloway School. Now we are calling on our NYO families, both past and present, and the wider community to help fill the $10.5 million gap by year’s end. This effort will not only round out 75 years of NYO but will also build a legacy for our athletes and families. Let’s come together to share the gift of sport for generations to come!
